A refuge is a safe place. Refuge Jiu-Jitsu in Cameron Park, CA was built to be exactly that: a place where people show up for each other, grow together, and learn to serve.
SI91, Standard Issue 91, grew from that name. It stands for the people who answer the call, for their families, their teams and their communities, and for the quiet standard they hold themselves to.
We hold ourselves to that same standard. Every detail is considered, nothing is rushed, and nothing leaves our hands unless it's something we'd be proud to wear ourselves. Each piece is meant to last and to carry meaning.
Our founder, Jeremiah, spent six years as a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter rescue swimmer and then served in Air Force Special Warfare as a pararescueman. The lesson never changed: the work that matters most is helping the person next to you.
That is who we are. Thank you for being part of it.
